Raised in West Memphis, Arkansas, Jade discovered the significance of faith, stewardship and diligence early on. As the son of a Baptist Minister and School teacher, he was taught to merge biblical principles with ambitious aspirations, unlocking a world of opportunities. Guided by this solid foundation, Jade embarked on a journey that has surpassed his expectations.

He would go on to earn degrees in electrical engineering and law, utlimately becoming a patent lawyer. Along the way, he discovered real estate and began growing a portfolio of rental houses in Houston and the Memphis-metro area. Shortly thereafter, he began investing in apartments.

Today, Jade, a seasoned investor, attorney and founder of Laye Capital, helps investors grow their wealth through passive investments in apartment and build-to-rent communities. With over 13 years of real estate experience, Jade has successfully handled the acquisition, rehabilitation, and operation of 2200+ single and multi-family rental units in Texas, Arkansas, Memphis and Atlanta. His assets under management exceed $370 million. Jade also brings to bear 15+ years of legal and management experience in leading national law firms.

Aside from real estate, Jade holds multiple law degrees and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, bringing a unique blend of legal experience and technical acumen to the investment landscape.
